Juergen Teller was born in Erlangen, Germany, in 1964. In 1986, he moved to London, where he has worked for magazines including I.D., The Face, Arena, Index and W while developing his photographic trademark. Counted among his well-known customers are Marc Jacobs, Helmut Lang, Calvin Klein, Yves Saint Laurent and Comme des Garçons. His works have been regularly exhibited since 1992. His most recent books are Go-Sees, Tracht, More and Märchenstüberl. In 2003 he won the Citibank Photography Prize.
